Suggested Use: Adults take 1 capsule once a day, at or before bedtime, or as directed by a health care practitioner. Consult a health care practitioner for use beyond 4 weeks. If seal around cap is broken or missing, do not use.
Risk Information: Consult a healthcare practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen or if sleeplessness persists continuously for more than 4 weeks (chronic insomnia). Consult a healthcare practitioner if you have cardiovascular, immune, liver or chronic kidney disease, hormonal or seizure disorders, asthma, depression, diabetes, low blood sugar, or migraine or if you are taking medications for seizures, blood pressure, to suppress the immune system (immunosuppressive medications), to affect mental state or increase sedation, steroids or blood thinners. Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Avoid taking with alcohol or products that cause drowsiness and/or have analgesic properties. Do not drive or use machinery for 5 hours after taking melatonin. Some people may experience drowsiness. Exercise caution if operating heavy machinery, driving a motor vehicle or involved in activities requiring mental alertness. Stop use if hypersensitivity or allergy occurs or if you experience headache, confusion, or nausea.
