A combination of broccoli seed extract (as TrueBroc®) and mustard seed powder (Sinapis alba) to support healthy antioxidant status
BroccoProtect™ is a synergistic blend of specially cultivated broccoli seed extract (as TrueBroc®) and mustard seed powder (Sinapis alba) that provide sulforaphane glucosinolate (SGS) and naturally occurring myrosinase (MYR) enzyme, respectively, for maximal conversion to broccoli’s beneficial compound, sulforaphane. TrueBroc® is standardized to contain 13% glucoraphanin, yielding 24 mg SGS per capsule. The mustard seed extract provides naturally occurring MYR to optimize SGS bioavailability and ensure its conversion to sulforaphane (SFN) in the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. BroccoProtect™ is designed to help support detoxification pathways, antioxidant status, and cellular health.
Research shows that diets rich in broccoli are chemoprotective, promote reduction of PSA levels, and possess anti-inflammatory properties. BroccoRaphanin™ is a proprietary and patented variety of broccoli (Brassica oleracea italica) and is particularly rich in glucoraphanin - better known as sulforaphane glucosinolate. Sulforaphane glucosinolate is the direct precursor to sulforaphane. The dietary isothiocyanate sulforaphane targets numerous biological pathways that modulate Phase I enzymes and elevate Phase II enzymes that are present in all cells.
