Our InBody machine is an accurate and precise medical device that has been used in over 6000 clinical studies worldwide.
Offering a quick and convenient 10-15 minute appointment, our non-invasive evaluation involves standing barefoot on our machine and holding onto the handles for less than 60 seconds. This system accurately measures cellular communication throughout your body, with a precision level of 98% comparable to that of a DEXA scan. The generated report will showcase your individualized data, which can be interpreted by our qualified staff member or Naturopathy student.
This evaluation serves as an invaluable tool to monitor your progress and serves as a comprehensive reference point to assist you in achieving a healthier body composition. Unlike traditional weight measurements, this assessment provides detailed insights into your body composition, including visceral fat, muscle mass, daily calorie expenditure, water weight, body fat distribution in each arm, leg, and torso, as well as muscle distribution.

Appointment duration: 10-15 minutes
Measurement of Grip Strength of each arm with the InGrip Dynamometer device is included in this appointment.

IMPORTANT:
People with artificial electrical implants such as a defibrillator or pacemaker are not recommended to take an InBody Test.
Women who are on their menstrual cycle or are pregnant are not recommended to test as they may not obtain accurate results due to subtle changes in their hydration and body water levels.
Because the bottom of your feet must be in direct contact with the electrodes, clothing items such as shoes, socks, stockings or leggings must be removed for accurate results.
PREFERRED:
- Do not drink caffeine on the day of your test
- Do not eat 3-4 hours prior to testing
- Do not exercise heavily 6-12 hours prior to test
- Do not take InBody after a shower or sauna session
- Do not wear jewelry

Get an in-depth analysis of an individual’s fat-free mass. Evaluate if an individual has a sufficient level of fat-free mass in each segment of the body (arms, legs, and trunk) and spot any imbalances between the limbs.

Each appointment will start with a 30-minute detailed initial assessment performed by Vanessa Tavares, a Certified Personal Trainer and Naturopathy student. In this time, we will review your InBody results sheet, discuss your fitness objectives and assess your strength levels - laying the foundation for a fully tailored plan.
You’ll receive a customized 8-week strength-training program, complete with video demonstrations for each exercise to ensure correct form and prevent injury.
Programs will include an exclusively electronic workout tracking sheet to monitor weekly increases in weight and/or repetitions to ensure the application of progressive overload.
For the duration of the program, weekly check-in calls of 15-minutes (8 phone calls total) are performed every Thursday at a scheduled time to ensure the success of each client.
