Services & consultations
What happens during a naturopathy consultation?
A naturopathy consultation is a whole-person review of your lifestyle, environment, habits and goals. Your naturopath then suggests practical tools such as dietary changes, targeted supplements and lifestyle strategies tailored to you. Naturopathy does not diagnose, cure, treat or prevent disease, and it does not replace care from your physician. See our naturopathy page for details.
Do your practitioners provide insurance receipts?
Yes. Each of our professionals issues an insurance receipt for the service they provided, including naturopathy and massage therapy sessions. Whether a service is reimbursed, and how much, depends on your own insurance plan, so check your coverage with your insurer before booking. You can browse every service on our services page.
Can I have a consultation by video?
Yes, certain services are offered virtually over Zoom, including basic naturopathy consultations and exercise programs. We prefer to meet clients in person, so virtual consultations are not offered by default and must be requested at the time of booking. To get started, choose your service on our booking page and mention that you would like a virtual appointment.
Can iridology be done virtually?
Yes, iridology can be offered over Zoom, but you must first email photos of your eyes for approval. The images need to be high quality and satisfactory to our naturopath-iridologists, and we provide instructions for taking them. As with other virtual services, request the virtual option when you book. Learn more on our iridology page.
What is iridology?
Iridology is a specialization within naturopathy in which the practitioner studies photographs of the iris, pupil and sclera to look for constitutional tendencies. The exam is non-invasive: images are projected onto a monitor, explained to you and followed by nutrition and lifestyle suggestions. Iridology does not diagnose, cure, treat or prevent disease and is not a substitute for your physician.
Do your practitioners see children?
Yes. Our naturopaths see children for naturopathy consultations. For iridology, a child must be over 3.5 years old so they can sit still for the iris photographs. If you are looking for supplements made for younger family members, browse our kids' supplements and always follow the age range on each label.
Is massage therapy available, and how long are sessions?
Yes. Our certified massage therapist offers therapeutic massage booked by appointment in blocks of 60 or 90 minutes, with pressure adapted to your comfort level. Insurance receipts are provided for massage therapy sessions. Find more details on our massage therapy page, or book directly through our booking page.
Practitioner-grade supplements
What does practitioner-grade mean?
Practitioner-grade describes professional supplement lines that manufacturers distribute mainly through health practitioners such as naturopaths, rather than through general retail. It is a marketing term, not a Health Canada category; the Natural Product Number (NPN) on the label is what shows a product has been licensed. Every brand on our brands A–Z page is practitioner-grade.
Why do some products say "Requires practitioner recommendation"?
Some professional formulas, such as products in the NFH SAP line, are flagged "Requires practitioner recommendation" on their product page. To order one, enter the name of the practitioner who recommended it in the required field before adding it to your cart. If you do not have a practitioner, you can book a consultation with one of our naturopaths first.
What is an NPN?
An NPN, or Natural Product Number, is the eight-digit licence number Health Canada issues to natural health products sold in Canada. It is printed on the label and confirms the product has been reviewed for safety, quality and the claims it may make. Homeopathic medicines carry a DIN-HM instead. We list the NPN on product pages where it applies.
Which supplement brands do you carry?
We carry 46 practitioner-grade and professional brands, including Genestra, NFH, Metagenics, Designs for Health, Pure Encapsulations, Thorne, Nordic Naturals, ATP Lab and Cymbiotika. The full list, with a link to each brand's collection, is on our All Brands A–Z page. Popular starting points include Genestra and NFH.
Can I take supplements with my prescription medication?
Ask your physician or pharmacist before combining any natural health product with prescription medication, because some ingredients can interact with certain drugs. Bring a list of everything you take to your naturopathy consultation so our naturopaths can review it with you. Always follow the directions on the label, and read our disclaimer about the information on this site.
Orders & shipping
Do you ship across Canada, and is shipping free?
Yes. We ship online orders to addresses across Canada, and orders of $99 or more (CAD) ship free. Orders under $99 pay the shipping rate shown at checkout. Prices on our store are in Canadian dollars. Start with our brands A–Z page or shop by concern, such as immune support or digestion.
Do you have a loyalty program?
Yes. Our free loyalty program, Santé+ Points, lets you earn points with every purchase and redeem them for discounts on future orders. It is a simple way to save on the supplements you reorder regularly. You can join for free and see how points are earned and redeemed on our Santé+ Points page.
Do you offer gift cards?
Yes. We offer two gift cards: a digital e-gift card that is delivered instantly, and a physical Centre de Solution Santé gift card. The recipient chooses their own products, which makes a gift card a good option when you are unsure which supplements suit someone else's routine or health history. Find both in our gift card collection.
Returns
What is your return policy?
Unopened products in their original condition can be returned, refunded or exchanged within 60 days of the purchase date, either in person or by mail. All returns and exchanges require proof of purchase, and a full refund is offered once the unopened items are received, not including shipping fees. Read the full details on our Return Policy page.
How do I return a product by mail?
Ship the new, unopened product in a bubble mailer or a well-packed box with your name, phone number and order number, to the address shown on our Return Policy page. Return shipping is paid by the customer, and you are responsible for delivery, so we recommend keeping the mailing receipt with its tracking number until your refund is processed.
How long does a refund take?
Once we receive a mailed return, please allow 1 to 3 business days for us to process the refund. Refunds are issued to the original form of payment and cover the returned unopened items, not the shipping fees. Your bank or card issuer may need additional time to post the credit. See our Return Policy page for conditions.
About us
Are naturopaths regulated in Québec?
No. Naturopathy is not a regulated profession in Québec, and naturopaths are not medical doctors, registered dietitians or licensed nutritionists; they do not provide medical diagnoses or prescriptions. Our naturopaths are members of the Association des Naturopathes Professionnels du Québec (ANPQ), a professional association. You can read each practitioner's training and memberships on their bio, such as Gino Bellinfante, ND.
Who founded Centre de Solution Santé?
Centre de Solution Santé was founded in 2003 by naturopaths Gino Bellinfante, ND and Jennifer Bellinfante, ND. It began as a small family business and is still family-owned and operated, combining a naturopathy clinic with a carefully curated online wellness shop that ships across Canada.
